Equipment

  • 1 Non-stick skillet For frying the peameal bacon and egg
  • 1 Toaster or Grill For toasting the buns

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices Peameal bacon
  • 4 Eggs
  • 4 Buns Preferably Kaiser or soft buns, split open
  • to taste Butter For toasting buns and cooking
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.
  • Once butter is melted, add peameal bacon slices, cooking each side for about 3-4 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through.
  • Remove bacon from skillet and set aside. Use the same skillet to fry the eggs.
  • Toast the buns with a little butter until golden brown.
  • In the same skillet, add more butter if needed, and crack the eggs into the skillet.
  • Cook the eggs to your desired doneness, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Place a slice of cooked peameal bacon on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  • Top the bacon with a fried egg.
  • Cover with the top half of the bun. Serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, you can add cheese, mayonnaise, or your preferred condiments to the sandwich.
