Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Apples Peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Butter Cold and cubed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and water. Mix well.
  • Transfer the apple mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and cubed butter until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the oat topping over the apple mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For a nutty crunch, add chopped pecans or walnuts to the oat topping before baking.
