Equipment

  • 1 Muffin tin
  • 1 Mixing bowls
  • 1 Whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 Ripe bananas Mashed
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Melted butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients - flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas, brown sugar, melted butter, and egg.
  • Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • If using, gently fold in the walnuts or chocolate chips.
  • Divide the batter evenly into the muffin tin and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Enjoy the banana muffins warm or at room temperature.

Notes

These muffins can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
