  • 1 Muffin tin For baking the muffins
  • 1 Mixing bowl For mixing the ingredients
  • 1 Electric mixer For blending the batter

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Ripe bananas Mashed
  • 1/3 cup Melted butter
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a muffin tin.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix mashed bananas with melted butter.
  • Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and mix well.
  • Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
  • Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  • Divide the batter evenly into the muffin tin.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a healthier version, you can use whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour and replace sugar with honey or maple syrup.
