Equipment

  • 1 Grill or frying pan For cooking the patties
  • 1 Mixing bowl For combining ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Ground beef 80% lean
  • 1 medium-sized Onion Finely chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper Freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For grilling

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
  • Shape the mixture into four equal patties and make a small indentation in the center of each.
  • Preheat grill or frying pan over medium-high heat and coat with olive oil.
  • Cook patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  • Remove patties from heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve on toasted buns with your choice of toppings.

Notes

For added flavor, you can mix in some shredded cheese or chopped herbs into the patties before cooking.
