Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Blueberries Fresh or frozen

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add butter and use a pastry cutter to cut it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together cream, egg, and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the blueberries.
  • Transfer dough to a floured surface; shape into a circle and cut into 8 wedges.
  • Place scones on the baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra sweetness, drizzle a vanilla glaze on cooled scones before serving.
