Equipment

  • 1 Skillet For cooking the chicken and asparagus
  • 1 Mixing bowl For marinating the chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Chicken breast Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 300 g Asparagus Trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest Freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper Freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine chicken with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add marinated chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Add asparagus and lemon zest, and sauté until asparagus is tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  • Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices or fresh herbs as desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a splash of soy sauce.
