Follow this recipe to prepare a delicious Cinnamon Roll French Toast Casserole, a wonderful breakfast dish made with cinnamon rolls and a rich custard mixture.

  • 1 Baking dish 9x13 inches
  • 1 Mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Refrigerated cinnamon rolls Cut into quarters
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Pecans Chopped, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cut the refrigerated cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread them evenly in the baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls, making sure they are well-coated.
  • Drizzle the maple syrup over the top and sprinkle with chopped pecans, if using.
  • Bake for 35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with the icing from the cinnamon roll cans, if desired.

Notes

For a twist, try adding fruit like blueberries or sliced apples before baking.
