Equipment

  • 1 Waffle iron For cooking the waffles
  • 1 Mixing bowl For mixing the batter

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 Eggs Separated
  • 1 3/4 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your waffle iron.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks and stir in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold into the batter.
  • Ladle the batter onto the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot with your choice of toppings such as butter, syrup, or fresh fruits.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can substitute half of the milk with buttermilk.
