  • 1 Large Pot For boiling pasta
  • 1 Frying pan For making the sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g Pasta Your choice of pasta
  • 250 g Asparagus Trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Shrimp

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Add asparagus to the pot during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
  • Drain pasta and asparagus, reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking water.
  • In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and stir in grated Parmesan.
  • Add the cooked pasta and asparagus to the pan, tossing to coat with the creamy sauce. Use reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and Parmesan with nutritional yeast.
