Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Chicken broth Low-sodium
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch Dissolved in water
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken pieces with garlic powder and salt.
  • In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil, then cook the chicken until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add chicken broth, heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and black pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  • Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and simmer for a few more minutes to combine flavors.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

For a healthier version, use low-fat cream or milk instead of heavy cream.
