  • 1 Baking sheet For baking the tart
  • 1 Parchment paper To line the baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry Thawed if frozen
  • 4 Eggs Large
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Cheddar or cheese of choice
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Chives Chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Fold the edges of the pastry to create a border.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the puff pastry.
  • Crack the eggs over the cheese at evenly spaced intervals.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the eggs are set.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped chives.
  • Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
