  • 1 Microwave-safe bowl For cooking the egg
  • 1 Fork For whisking the egg

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Egg
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tsp Butter or oil For greasing the bowl

Instructions
 

  • Grease a microwave-safe bowl with butter or oil to prevent sticking.
  • Crack an egg into the bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • If preferred, lightly beat the egg with a fork.
  • Microwave on high for approximately 45 seconds, or until the egg is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave (it will be hot) and enjoy your Egg in a Bowl.

Notes

You can add cheese, herbs, or chopped vegetables to the egg before cooking for added flavor.
