Equipment

  • 1 Oven Preheated to 350°F (175°C)
  • 1 Large pot For boiling noodles
  • 1 Baking dish For baking the pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Egg noodles Cooked al dente
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 cup Cooked chicken Diced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Stir in cooked egg noodles and cooked chicken until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the chicken and add in mushrooms or other vegetables of your choice.
