  • 1 Mixing Bowl For mixing the egg salad
  • 1 Knife For chopping and slicing ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Eggs Hard-boiled and diced
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Chives Chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 Croissants Freshly baked or store-bought
  • 1 cup Lettuce leaves Washed and dried

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine diced eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped chives, salt, and pepper.
  • Gently mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  • Place a layer of lettuce on the bottom half of each croissant.
  • Top with a generous scoop of the egg salad mixture.
  • Place the top half of the croissant over the egg salad and serve immediately.

Notes

For more flavor, add paprika or cayenne pepper to the egg salad.
