Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet For baking the nachos
  • 1 Non-stick skillet For frying the eggs

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Tortilla chips Plain or flavored
  • 200 g Cheddar cheese Grated
  • 4 Eggs Large
  • 2 tbsp Butter For frying eggs
  • 1/2 cup Salsa Store-bought or homemade
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Cilantro Chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
  • Place in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Crack eggs into the skillet and cook until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny, or to your liking.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Remove the nachos from the oven and place a fried egg on top of the cheese-covered chips.
  • Top with salsa and garnish with chopped cilantro.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add jalapeños or avocado slices.
