Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar Packed
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and milk, mixing until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute butter with margarine and milk with a plant-based alternative like almond milk.
