Equipment

  • 1 9-inch pie pan For baking the quiche
  • 1 Mixing bowl For preparing the custard mixture

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pastry crust Pre-baked
  • 1 cup Ham Diced
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg Freshly grated, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Spread the diced ham evenly over the pre-baked pastry crust.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the ham.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the pie crust.
  • Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For variety, add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to the quiche filling.
