Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Spread the diced ham evenly over the pre-baked pastry crust.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the ham.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the pie crust.
Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For variety, add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to the quiche filling.
