Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet For baking the pastries
  • 1 Parchment paper To line the baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry Thawed if frozen
  • 4 Eggs Lightly beaten
  • 8 slices Ham
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese Grated
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut into four equal squares.
  • Place 2 slices of ham, a sprinkle of cheese, and a spoonful of beaten egg in the center of each square.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle, sealing the edges.
  • Brush the top of each pastry with the remaining beaten egg.
  • Place the pastries on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

For additional flavor, add a spoonful of Dijon mustard with the filling.
