Equipment

  • 1 Large skillet
  • 1 Mixing Bowl For marinating the beef

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Beef sirloin or flank steak Thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger Minced
  • 4 cups Cooked white rice
  • 2 cups Mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli) Sliced
  • 2 tbsp Sesame seeds For garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Add the sliced beef to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  • In the same skillet, stir-fry the mixed vegetables until tender-crisp.
  • To assemble the bowls, divide the cooked rice among serving bowls, top with beef and vegetables, and garnish with sesame seeds.
