Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl For preparing the batter
  • 1 Non-stick skillet For frying the pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Chives Chopped into 2-inch lengths
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil For frying

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, water, egg, and salt to make a smooth batter.
  • Add the chopped chives to the batter and mix well.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add some oil.
  • Pour a ladleful of batter into the skillet and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake.
  • Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Repeat with remaining batter, adding more oil as needed.
  • Serve hot with soy sauce or dipping sauce of choice.

Notes

For added flavor, you can include chopped seafood like shrimp or squid in the batter.
