Equipment

  • 1 Large skillet For cooking the shrimp
  • 1 Pot For boiling linguine pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/4 cup Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest For extra flavor
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley Chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque.
  • Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat with the lemon butter sauce.
  • Serve hot garnished with additional parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

For a lighter version, use olive oil instead of butter and whole wheat linguine pasta.
