Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1/8 tsp Baking powder
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/8 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate chips Optional, for extra chocolatey goodness

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave-safe mug, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  • Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the mug, and mix until smooth.
  • If desired, stir in chocolate chips for an extra indulgent touch.
  • Microwave the mug cake on high for 1-2 minutes, or until the cake has risen and set.
  • Carefully remove the mug from the microwave (it will be hot!), and let it cool for a minute before enjoying.

Notes

Feel free to top your chocolate mug cake with whipped cream, ice cream, or a dusting of powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
