Ingredients
  

  • 6 Ripe peaches Peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1/2 cup White sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Ground
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg Ground
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup White sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup Milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Mix well.
  • Transfer the peach mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, white sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add in the cold cubed butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in the milk until just combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the peach filling.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

You can also use frozen peaches if fresh ones are not available. Adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of the peaches.
