Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Peanut butter Creamy
  • 1/2 cup Butter Softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar Packed
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a crunchy version, use crunchy peanut butter.
