  • 1 Non-stick skillet For frying eggs

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Polenta Dry
  • 4 cups Water Or chicken/vegetable broth for more flavor
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 4 Eggs Large
  • 1 cup Cheese Grated, preferred Parmesan or a similar hard cheese

Instructions
 

  • Bring water or broth and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  • Gradually whisk in polenta. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring often, until polenta thickens and is tender, about 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and fry the eggs to your liking.
  • Divide the polenta among plates, top each with a fried egg, and sprinkle generously with grated cheese.
  • Serve immediately while hot for the best experience.

Notes

For a richer polenta, you can substitute water with milk or a mix of milk and chicken/vegetable broth. For a vegetarian version, ensure to use vegetable broth and vegetarian cheese.
