Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices Bread Preferably thick-cut
  • 2 Eggs Large
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Butter For cooking

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, pumpkin puree, milk, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and sugar until smooth.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter to melt.
  • Dip each bread slice into the pumpkin mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
  • Place the coated bread slices onto the skillet and cook each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the skillet and serve hot with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, whipped cream, or powdered sugar.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute milk with almond or soy milk and butter with a dairy-free alternative.
