Equipment

  • 1 Oven Preheat to 350°F (175°C).
  • 1 Large skillet For cooking sausage.
  • 1 9x13 inch baking dish For baking the casserole.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Breakfast sausage Crumpled and cooked.
  • 1 can Refrigerated biscuit dough Cut into quarters.
  • 6 Eggs Large, beaten.
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the biscuit dough in the baking dish.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and biscuit pieces.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the biscuits are golden brown.
  • Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize the casserole by adding vegetables like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms to the sausage mixture.
