Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Stale bread Cubed
  • 6 Eggs Beaten
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Chopped fresh herbs Such as parsley or thyme

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Add bread cubes and allow to soak for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in shredded cheese and chopped herbs.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until set and golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add cooked vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for more flavor and nutrition.
