Equipment

  • 1 Blender For making strawberry puree
  • 1 Whisk For mixing matcha

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Strawberries Fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp Sugar Adjust to taste
  • 2 tsp Matcha powder High quality
  • 1/2 cup Hot water
  • 1 cup Milk Dairy or non-dairy
  • as needed Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, blend strawberries with sugar until smooth to make strawberry puree.
  • Whisk matcha powder with hot water until dissolved and foamy.
  • Fill two glasses with ice cubes and add strawberry puree at the bottom.
  • Pour milk over the strawberry layer gently.
  • Top with whisked matcha layer. Stir before drinking.

Notes

Feel free to sweeten with honey or agave syrup for a different flavor.
