Equipment

  • 1 Non-stick skillet For cooking the omelette
  • 1 Whisk For beating the eggs and sweet ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Eggs Large
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Fresh berries or sliced fruits Optional, for serving
  • to drizzle Maple syrup or honey Optional, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until well combined and slightly frothy.
  • Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, tilting the pan to spread the eggs evenly.
  • Cook the omelette until the edges start to set, then gently lift the edges with a spatula to let the uncooked eggs flow to the edges.
  • When the omelette is mostly set but still slightly runny on top, fold it in half and cook for another minute.
  • Slide the omelette onto a plate, garnish with fresh berries or sliced fruits, and drizzle with maple syrup or honey if desired.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with a plant-based alternative.
