These Sweet Potato Brownies are a healthy twist on a classic dessert. Made with nutritious sweet potatoes, they are fudgy and packed with chocolatey goodness.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Mashed sweet potatoes Cooked and cooled
  • 1/2 cup Almond butter Creamy
  • 1/3 cup Honey Or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate chips Optional, for extra chocolatey flavor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, almond butter, and honey. Mix until smooth.
  • Add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture, and stir until well combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely before slicing into squares. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegan version, use maple syrup instead of honey.
