  • 1 Whisk For mixing the ingredients
  • 1 Muffin tin For baking the Yorkshire Puddings

Ingredients

  • 4 pcs Eggs Large
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour Sifted
  • 1 cup Milk Whole milk or semi-skimmed
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil For greasing the muffin tin

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • Beat the eggs in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the flour and salt, whisking until smooth.
  • Gradually add the milk, continuing to whisk until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  • Pour a little oil into each well of a muffin tin and place it in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until the oil is hot.
  • Carefully remove the muffin tin from the oven and quickly pour the batter into the hot oil, filling each well about halfway.
  • Return the muffin tin to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puddings have puffed up and turned golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispier texture, make sure the oil is really hot before adding the batter.
