This BLT Salad with Egg recipe combines the classic flavors of a BLT sandwich with the added protein of a hard-boiled egg, making for a hearty and delicious salad.

Equipment

  • 1 Skillet For cooking bacon
  • 1 Mixing bowl For assembling the salad

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 4 Hard-boiled eggs sliced
  • 8 cups Romaine lettuce chopped
  • 2 cups Cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup Croutons
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook the bacon in a skillet until crisp, then crumble.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, crumbled bacon, and croutons.
  • Add sliced hard-boiled eggs on top of the salad.
  • Drizzle with ranch dressing.
  • Toss gently to combine all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, use turkey bacon and a light dressing.
