Equipment

  • 1 Non-stick frying pan For frying the halloumi and eggs
  • 1 Spatula For flipping

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Halloumi cheese Sliced
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Burger buns Cut in half
  • 1 cup Fresh lettuce Washed and chopped
  • 1 Tomato Sliced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add the halloumi slices and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the halloumi and set aside.
  • In the same pan, crack the eggs and fry to your liking, season with salt and pepper.
  • Toast the cut sides of the burger buns in the pan until golden.
  • Assemble the burger by placing lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by fried halloumi, egg, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a spread of your choice, like hummus or avocado, inside the buns.
