Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan For boiling eggs
  • 1 Mixing bowl For making egg salad

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Eggs Boiled
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise Preferably Japanese mayonnaise
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 4 slices White bread Crusts removed
  • 1 tsp Butter Softened

Instructions
 

  • Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
  • Boil eggs for 10 minutes, then transfer to a bowl of ice water to cool.
  • Peel the boiled eggs and place them in a mixing bowl.
  • Mash the eggs with a fork, then add mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread softened butter on each slice of bread.
  • Spread the egg mixture evenly over two slices of bread and top with the remaining slices.
  • Cut sandwiches in half, or into desired shapes, and serve.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can use low-fat mayonnaise.
