Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet For baking the cookies
  • 1 Mixing bowl For preparing the cookie dough
  • 1 Electric mixer For creaming the butter and sugar

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar Packed
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Mini chocolate eggs Crushed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate eggs.
  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For a colorful twist, add some additional whole mini chocolate eggs on top of each cookie before baking.
