
Classic Chef's Salad with Hard-Boiled Eggs Recipe

- 1 Salad Bowl For tossing and serving the salad
- 1 Pot For boiling eggs
Ingredients
- 4 cups Mixed salad greens Rinsed and dried
- 1 Cucumber Sliced
- 1 Tomato Cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup Red onion Thinly sliced
- 4 Hard-boiled eggs Peeled and quartered
- 6 slices Ham Cut into strips
- 6 slices Turkey or chicken breast Cut into strips
- 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp White vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar
- to taste Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place salad greens into a large bowl. Top with cucumber slices, tomato wedges, and red onion.
- Add hard-boiled eggs, ham strips, turkey or chicken breast strips, and shredded cheese over the greens.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving.
