Tips to make the Denver Omelet with Ham, Bell Pepper, and Onion recipe:
1. Choose Quality Ham: The ham is a key ingredient in this omelet, so opt for a high-quality, fully cooked ham. Diced ham steak or even leftover cooked ham from a previous meal works great and adds delicious flavor.

We have been using these at my house, and a very similar Korean version for years, and we still have them from 10+ years ago. I highly recommend taking a look, and they are often on sale!
2. Use Fresh Vegetables: Freshness matters when it comes to the bell pepper and onion. These vegetables add crunch and sweetness to the omelet, so pick fresh, firm veggies for the best results. Pre-dicing them the night before can save you time in the morning.
3. Beat Eggs Thoroughly: For a fluffy and light omelet, make sure to beat the eggs well before cooking. A good whisk will incorporate air and make your omelet lighter and more enjoyable.
4. Cook on Medium Heat: To avoid burning the omelet or cooking it too quickly, use medium heat. This allows the ingredients to cook evenly and the omelet to set without getting too brown on the outside before the inside is done.
5. Add Cheese Optionally: For an extra layer of flavor and richness, consider adding a sprinkle of shredded cheese to your omelet before folding it. Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Swiss cheese are all great choices that melt well and complement the other ingredients.
