Tips to make the Asparagus and Soft Eggs on Toast recipe:
1. Choose Fresh Asparagus: The fresher the asparagus, the better your dish will be. Look for bright green stalks with tightly closed tips. Thinner spears tend to be tenderer and are ideal for quick cooking.

We have been using these at my house, and a very similar Korean version for years, and we still have them from 10+ years ago. I highly recommend taking a look, and they are often on sale!
2. Perfecting Soft Eggs: For soft, runny yolks, cook your eggs for about 5-6 minutes in boiling water. Immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water after boiling to stop the cooking process. This technique ensures you get the perfect consistency every time.
3. Quality Bread Matters: Opt for a high-quality loaf of bread such as sourdough or artisan whole grain. Thick slices toasted to golden-brown perfection add a satisfying crunch and flavor base for the toppings.
4. Season Wisely: Don’t forget to season your asparagus and eggs with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper. These simple seasonings will enhance the natural flavors of your ingredients.
5. Add a Drizzle: Finish your dish with a drizzle of good quality olive oil or melted butter on top. This not only adds a layer of richness but also beautifully ties all the flavors together.
