Classic American Burger with Fried Egg

Classic American Burger with Fried Egg Recipe

If you are craving a mouthwatering, hearty meal, try the Classic American Burger with Fried Egg. This recipe combines a juicy beef patty, melted cheese, and a perfectly fried egg for an irresistible sandwich. The savory flavors and creamy yolk make it a standout dish that is both satisfying and easy to prepare.

Tips to Make the Classic American Burger with Fried Egg Recipe:

1. Choose Quality Ground Beef: Use ground beef with a higher fat content, such as 80/20 (80% meat, 20% fat). This ensures a juicy and flavorful patty. Avoid overworking the meat to maintain tenderness.

2. Season Well: Season the beef patties generously with salt and pepper. You can also add garlic powder and onion powder for extra flavor. Season both sides before cooking.

3. Perfect the Fried Egg: For a runny yolk, cook the egg in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes until the whites are set. Flip and cook for an additional 30 seconds if you prefer a slightly firmer yolk.

4. Toast the Bun: A toasted bun adds a delightful crunch. Lightly butter the buns and toast them in the skillet or under the broiler until golden brown. This step also helps keep the bun from getting soggy.

5. Customize Toppings: Add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions. A slice of cheese, like cheddar or American, melted over the patty makes it even better.
