We have been using these at my house, and a very similar Korean version for years, and we still have them from 10+ years ago. I highly recommend taking a look, and they are often on sale!
2. Prepare the Pasta Sheets Properly: If you are using dried lasagna sheets, make sure to boil them until they’re just shy of fully cooked. They will continue to soften in the oven, absorbing the flavors of the sauce.
3. Opt for Homemade Tomato Sauce: A homemade tomato sauce can elevate this dish’s flavor. Simply sauté garlic and onions in olive oil, add crushed tomatoes, and let it simmer with herbs for a fresh and aromatic sauce.
4. Use a Piping Bag: For an easy and mess-free way to fill the cannelloni, use a piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner cut off. This will ensure even distribution of the filling in each pasta tube.
