- 1 Mixing Bowl For mixing the dough
- 1 Baking sheet Lined with parchment paper
- 1 Oven Preheated to 175°C (350°F)

- 500 g Flour All-purpose
- 100 g Sugar
- 250 ml Milk Warm
- 42 g Fresh yeast
- 200 g Butter Melted
- 1 tsp Salt
- 100 g Almonds Chopped
- 200 g Mixed dried fruit Raisins, currants, candied citrus peel
- 1 tsp Lemon zest Finely grated
- 1 tsp Ground cardamom
- 1 tsp Ground nutmeg
- 200 g Marzipan Rolled into a log
- 50 g Butter Melted
- 100 g Powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, lemon zest, ground cardamom, and ground nutmeg.
- Dissolve the fresh yeast in warm milk. Add to the flour mixture and knead to form a dough.
- Incorporate the melted butter into the dough and knead until smooth.
- Add chopped almonds and mixed dried fruit. Mix well to evenly distribute.
